Please join us for Urban Roots, this Thursday, 5/30 @7:30pm.
Urban Roots (2011) follows the urban farming phenomenon in Detroit. The film is a timely, moving and inspiring film that speaks to a nation grappling with collapsed industrial towns and the need to forge a sustainable and prosperous future.
We’ll be joined by gardners and farmers from across the region, as well our friends at the Indiana Community Garden.
Supporting local farmers and community gardens are no-brainers in the new economy. And, they’re the perfect antidote for the Frankenfood seeds of death currently being pushed by Monsanto and global corporate greed.
