Our CSA and Farmer’s Market project aims to provide resources and information for our residents about community supported agriculture and the Indiana Farmer’s Market. By educating the public, we hope to raise awareness about the various ways we can support our local farmers, our local community, while also providing our families with cost-effective, fresh, nourishing foods.
With the help of Chloe Drew, we’ve been able to contact our local farmer’s market, speak with Indiana area farmers, and find a local CSA drop off point in Indiana where residents can purchase shares of fresh crops every season! To learn more about the Indiana Farmer’s Market, read bios about Indiana farmers, sign up for the Penn’s Corner CSA, and access many more resources on getting local foods, check out the brand-new Indiana Farmer’s Market blog!
We’re excited to start spreading the word about local agriculture and local foods, and to help residents inform themselves so that they can access affordable, healthy, nutritious foods while also supporting the local economy and our community.
