The 2014 Film Series aims to tackle one of the most challenging aspects of activism — getting supporters of different causes to come together for real change!

The panels that revolve around these films will feature advocates from many different progressive causes, who we’ve invited to the Center’s film series so that they can provide different lenses  to interpret the movie.

How does a movie about healthcare connect to lower GMO regulations?  What does examining the penal system have to do with economic inequality or women’s rights?

If these are the kinds of questions that interest you, be sure to check out our 2014 Film Series: Forging Connections for Change beginning with a showing of the movie Inequality for All on January 31st.  Doors open for refreshments and interest tables at 6:30, the panel discussion will begin at 7:00, and the movie will start at 7:30.  See our Facebook page to stay updated.
